Keep your keyboard clean to prevent a build up of bacteria.
Lightly spray a cloth with a mild disinfectant and wipe the keyboard down while the computer is off.
Set up your computer in a sunlit room - direct sunlight kills germs.

Vacuum your computer area often and thoroughly - dust is an enemy of computers! Your computer needs a clean inside its case sometimes too; do not use a normal vacuum cleaner for this though, a smaller dust buster should be fine. However, make sure you don't make contact with any internal components while doing this, and unplug the computer from everything beforehand.
